Pre Trip of a lifetime, Part 1

YWas trying my darn best to find out more about Denmark, norway, sweden, finland on google. from a singporean point of view, but i realized that not many blogs have the answers for me or reviews from websites that could help me.

Prelude
Let's start with what made this trip even possible.

like all human, so many times, there were only talk and no action and a  trip to see northern lights so many times remain on the bucket list and never fulfilled even when we finally kick the bucket.

thus, my friend and her husband somehow decided to go for  package tour to finland for the northern lights, and knowing my bucket list, had asked me along. and 4 pax is easier for everything and at that point, the trip wasn't confirmed yet. thus, more people = better chance of going.

And so the story goes.

since i am already there. might as well travel to more nearby countries. thus embarking on this soloventure. my friends wanted to come as well. but limitation of leave and need to start work killed off their planning. And this is why it become solo.

finally after alot of  ding dong emails bouncing back n forth, i decided on my deviation flight which will be from sweden.

Route: Finland - Denmark - Norway - Sweden

Questions
What money do they use?
How cold is it?
What kind of shoes do i need?

Language?
Winter wear!
Shld i fly, train or ferry between each country?
I really want to backpack, don't expect me to help u buy branded stuff, unless you dont mind a crumpled, possibly crushed bag without box. But seriously, I'm not going to help any one buy anything for this trip.
